Environmental considerations and waste management are a natural part of the employers' daily life every where in the Flügger Group. We are also environmentally certified according to ISO 14001 on our factories, where we produce paints.
Among other things, the ISO certification means that the Group's paints are produced in a way, so we limit the use and discharge of anything that may affect the environment such as electricity, water, waste water and solvents.
The certification also means that we constantly have to improve ourselves, so we continuously reduce our share of the total strain on the environment.
Flügger has a wide assortment of water-based products and in general, our development laboratory is in front when it comes to development of sustainable products. One of the Group's environmental goals is to sell water-based exterior paints rather than exterior paints containing VOC. The introduction of Flügger Aqua January 2008 will in deed help us reach this target.
We have the ECO label on some of our products, and we intend to expand the assortment of products with the EU flower.
