To Flügger, it is natural to get involved in the community around us. We support and collaborate where it can make a difference.
Our Approach to Social Responsibility
At Flügger, we select partnerships that are in line with our values and where we can make a positive difference to people on the basis of our core activities and industry.

We want to be part of creating a greener industry. That is why we support initiatives that make a positive difference to people and the environment. When we support projects, we do so with care - and always in line with our beliefs.

At Flügger, our belief is that inspirational solutions start with people. We support projects that create equal opportunities, strengthen communities and promote the well-being of people - regardless of their background.

We enter into partnerships where we can bring our expertise and our products to the table. Our contribution should help make our world more colourful and sustainable. It should strengthen communities and create lasting value.
Long-term commitment
Support for charitable causes and social initiatives has been a long tradition at Flügger. Through responsible selection and ongoing dialogue, we ensure that our support creates tangible value and contributes to a more environmentally friendly industry and a stronger society.
Our Social Partnerships
We support projects where we believe our contribution can make a difference and where there is a natural fit with the values and expertise of the firm. Below are some of the initiatives we are proud to be part of.
Paint It Forward
– when leftover paint is given new life
Paint It Forward’s aim is to reduce paint waste by donating surplus paint to people in economically vulnerable situations, as well as to schools and artists.
In 2023/24, we donated 13 pallets of paint and 1 pallet of handmade paint brushes – equivalent to 60% of all the paint that the organisation distributes.
Pride
– colour and diversity
At Flügger, we share the values of diversity and the right to be yourself. In 2023/24, we sponsored Pride events in Holstebro, Kolding and Aalborg with local donations.
Our contributions are part of our commitment to inclusivity and community – no matter what part of the country you live in.
Flügger Andelen
– supporting Nordic communities
Flügger Andelen makes volunteering easier. Communities in Denmark, Sweden and Norway can join the initiative and receive 5% of their purchases as a contribution.
A total of DKK 1,052,210 was donated to 1,078 members in 2023/24. – The grants cover everything from musical instruments to sports equipment.
The Dyslexia Association
– promoting awareness and inclusion
We work with the Danish and Swedish Dyslexia Associations to raise awareness of dyslexia in our industry and among our employees. In 2023/24 we had presentations with the spokesperson of the Dyslexia Association and shared knowledge about assistive technology and experiences within the organisation.
TV2's Nybyggerne 2025
– creativity og DYI inspiration
In TV 2’s programme Nybyggerne, four couples use creativity and craftsmanship to transform unfinished houses into personal homes. Through our products, we help inspire viewers and contestants to create DIY solutions that can bring colour and quality to Danish homes.
Talks of Art
– art as an agent of change
Through Talks of Art, Flügger invites contemporary artists to share their creative processes and reflect on the role of art in society. We support both established and emerging artists in their work, believing that art can open up new perspectives and create dialogue.

The Salon Horsens 2025
Admission is free when the world’s most talented decorative painters gather in Denmark from the 8th to the 9th of May. At FÆNGSLET in Horsens, Denmark, visitors will have the opportunity to experience a craft rich in tradition, the work of which is usually only seen in historic buildings.
Thanks to sponsorship from Stillinges Fond, Familien Hansens Fond and Flügger, among others, the experience is free of charge.
